John Thomas "J.T." Oldham
J.T. was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, 60 miles north of Austin. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, and after three years of study, received a Bachelors degree in Psychology in 2006.
J.T. then went on to attend South Texas College of Law, graduating in 2010. At South Texas, he participated in appellate advocacy, became a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity, and was awarded such accreditations as Deans’ List for academic achievement. J.T. is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, as well as the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
In February of 2010, J.T. joined Christian, Smith & Jewell as a law clerk, and after being licensed as an attorney in November of 2010, was hired on as an associate. In his time at the firm, he has focused on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on securities manipulation, churning and suitability of investments, as well as complex contract disputes.

J.T. currently lives in Houston. In his spare time he enjoys competing in triathlons, playing golf and flag football, and hunting.
